Rules and regulations :

1)      Each school must prepare a video that touches on all the leadership and environmental-related aspects of their school to be presented at SAEYLS to the other schools. This is to ensure a healthy competition and also the exchange of ideas on the environment between schools.  
2)      The video must be prepared for a minimum of three minutes but must not exceed five minutes.
3)      The video prepared must have the things listed below and prepared in order :-
a.       An introduction to the school (Name of school, vision and mission)
b.      Leadership and environmental-friendly practices held in school (At least three)
c.       An explanation of each practice (A brief history/benefits)
d.      Shots of school leaders and environmental places in school (Along with a commentary)
e.      A leadership and an Eco club meeting/activity in school
f.        Eco-related practices that will be applied in the future
4)      The presenter(s) in the video must state each section in the format clearly in the video before going on with the explanation. As an example :-
“I will start off this video with giving and introduction to the school as stated in ‘a’. The name of this school is…”
This is to avoid confusion for both audience and the judges. The judges will be able to give the marks accurately and accordingly to each section.
5)      The video must be saved in a pen drive in WMV or AVI Format and submitted to the SAEYLS Organizing Committee Members at the Registration Counter upon arrival at the place of accommodation. Kindly rename the pen drive as the name of your school and place a sticker with your schools’ name on the pen drive. Failure in submitting the pen drive at the registration counter upon arrival will result in the deduction of marks.
6)      The video prepared must not have any negative inclinations or influences. It must also be clear and precise. Schools that submit videos that have any negative indications will automatically be disqualified from the competition.
