Selamat Datang ke Kuala Lumpur!

Kuala Lumpur is a multicultural tropical city. People of various ethnicity, be it Malay, Chinese , Indian or natives from Sabah and Sarawak, live and work together in Malaysia.  Malaysians respect and celebrate their diversity and no where is it more apparent than in Kuala Lumpur.


Geography


Kuala Lumpur is situated in the Peninsula of Malaysia,  at the heart of South East Asia, bordering Thailand in the north, Indonesia in the south and Phillipines in the east. 


Climate


Tropical Jasmine
The weather in Kuala Lumpur is typically warm with occasional tropical rain . The temperature ranges between 23 degrees celsius to 30 degrees celsius.   The monsoon could be felt in December.


Clothing

As the weather in Kuala Lumpur is tropical with lots of sunshine,  light cotton or linen clothes are recommended.  While Kuala Lumpur is a bustling modern city, it  still reveres its culture and heritage. Thus,   visitors are advised to dress modestly.


Language

English  is widely spoken in Kuala Lumpur  along with the various ethnic tongues- Malay ( majority), Chinese and Tamil.
